Our Story
Like so many great success stories, Applied Communications traces its history back to humble beginnings. Working out of a small house in Calgary’s Kensington district, we had a staff of four (not including the resident toddler in diapers), a handful of demanding clients, and a bold vision to fill a void in the North American marketing agency landscape by providing agile, value-driven service to the real estate marketing and sales arena.
That was 1998. Within a few short years – propelled entirely by repeat customers and word-of-mouth referrals – our client list grew exponentially, and the size of our staff doubled and doubled again.
In 2002, Applied purchased, refurbished and moved into a historical building in northwest Calgary (despite rumors of a friendly ghost inhabiting the basement). To satisfy the needs of our ever-expanding clientele, our staff roster has since grown, and we continue to convert the apartments upstairs into additional studio space.
